"Leslie Aguilar has played a leading role in the American Society for Training and Development - Central Florida Chapter's Diversity Council since 1993 and has twice served as chairperson. She has hosted many diversity learning events including the chapter's annual Diversity Resource Day which is attended by diversity professionals from throughout Central Florida.

Leslie has also been a speaker on diversity and multicultural customer service at ASTD conferences on the local, regional and national levels. As a gay man and a Human Resources professional, I have a heightened sensitivity to the benefits of diversity training.
